There's this field of broken glass across from the coffee shop Lux that is just stunningly beautiful at sunrise and sunset when the light hits the glass. Here is one photo of the glass. I have ideas of photos that I want to take that incorporate this broken glass. Trying to figure out exactly what I want to do with it will be this ongoing process, I think. But I think that is part of being an artist, especially a photographer. Well, actually not just a photographer, because definitely painters do the same thing. And probably dancers and actors and musicians too. Ok, so everyone.
You get an idea, and you have to just keep coming back to it, over and over, to try new things and approach your ideas in different ways. Have you seen Edward Weston's photos of bell peppers? He just kept coming back to his idea over and over.
