*It will be my birthday soon on February 24th. Actually in my head it already is my birthday - I think I kind of celebrate my birthday for about a month. From about Valentine's Day to Saint Patrick's Day. So any fun thing I have done lately or will do? It's for my birthday. I just found out that Tempe Camera is renting Zeiss lenses for 50% off til the end of February, so I am thinking I should rent one for the weekend. For my birthday.
* I want to go back to Flagstaff so very much. Going up there overnight a few weeks ago was just the best thing ever. I want to see my cousins and my aunt and uncle. I want to go hiking. I really want to go back to the downtown area and look in the shops. I want to see snow.
*My dear friend Bree keeps bugging me to create business cards and says she will get them for me for my birthday. I have always wanted business cards from Moo Cards, so I am going to design some.
*My mom is kind of on this making cookies kick. I think it started when I asked if she could make some so I could take them to a State of the Union watching party. She keeps making them, even though she can't eat them - due to her bone marrow transplant - and keeps asking me, Do you want to take them to so and so or take them when you go do such and such? Why yes I do, thank you very much Mamacita!
*I got to photograph women performing The Vagina Monologues last night at Filmbar in Phoenix. I'm sure I will post more about this after I edit the photos. The show was awesomely done.
*I always read the New York Times a lot and I keep coming across articles about Fashion Week, so I went to the website and was looking at some of the clothes. Here are some of the outfits that I liked. My favorites were by the designer Venexiana. I could actually imagine wearing the last one (the yellow dress) when it gets hot, and I would love to have the first one to wear, although I would have absolutely no place to wear it.
