When I heard the low rumble of thunder the other day I knew I just had to go outside and watch the storm advance. And what a storm it was! I drove to Gilbert High School and climbed to the top of the bleachers where I could see the massive clouds and the heat lightening and hear the thunder. The heat was, literally, breathtaking; the air came in hot, bothered gusts. The clouds were huge! And impossibly white on top with dark grey underbellies promising rain.
I was busy earlier today going through my files when I came across a folder called, simply, "Clouds". Curious, I explored this forgotten folder, and found images of the 2009 monsoon that I had taken out in the Superstition Mountains in the Arizona Desert.
