♥♥♥ Weddings and Engagement Sessions ♥♥♥

WEDDINGCOLLAGE

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding!

All weddings are unique, so instead of making all our photography services fit into packages that might not be exactly what you want, everything is a la carte. So you just decide what you would like and create a collection of your own. We offer complimentary engagement sessions to couples who book Brenda Eden Photography for eight or more hours of photography.

Here are some sample collections that are popular:

1. Ten hours of wedding photography + High Res CD + 30 page album + complimentary engagement session. $4000

2. Eight hours of wedding photography + High Res CD + complimentary engagement session. $2000

3. Six hours of wedding photography + High Res CD. $1500

List1

Engagement Sessions: A lot of newly engaged couples want engagement sessions and we love photographing them! We offer two kinds.  An engagement session extravaganza lasts 3 to 4 hours and we go to multiple locations and have time for multiple outfit changes. An engagement session lasts an hour and a half and we go to places that are within close proximity and have time for two outfit changes. Complimentary engagement sessions  are available to couples who book Brenda Eden Photography for eight or more hours of photography.

Bridals: We offer bridals, which are photo shoots for just the bride in her wedding gown a month or two before the wedding. (Bridals are more popular in the South, but we know some Arizona brides want them and we are delighted to photograph them.)

Trash the Dress: Trash the Dress shoots are extremely fun! We LOVE shooting Trash the Dress sessions and have thought up all sorts of ways to make them creative and amazing. We don't actually trash the dress, it's just a way to get back into your beautiful dress and have fun, edgy, unique images of the two of you.

Third Photographers: Third photographers are available if you would like to add them. We work with some other amazing Arizona photographers who can photograph with us if you would like a third photographer. Third photographers are a good idea for large weddings of 250 people or more.

Day After Shoots: Day After Shoots happen the day after your wedding and allow you to get back into your dress and get more gorgeous photos of you and your spouse.

Photobooths: Photobooths are just extremely, ridiculously fun. We set them up during your reception, so while your guests are dancing and partying, they can get silly, fun photobooth-style images.

Albums: Albums are an heirloom and an investment. We create albums that are 12" by 12" in size and come in 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80 or 90 pages.

♥♥♥ Detailed Information ♥♥♥

This is what is included in your wedding photography experience with Brenda Eden Photography:

2 photographers: Brenda Eden is always one of the photographers and Becky Eden or an associate photographer is the second photographer.

Walk thru of the venue(s) prior to the wedding: I go check out your venue, just to see what it is like to find out about the lighting at the venue.

Email and phone consultations: Got questions of any sort? Shoot me an email or give me a call and I will see how I can help. Questions don’t have to be photography-related. I’ve gone to a lot of weddings, so I’ve got ideas and advice and I love talking about weddings! :)

Optional month out in person meeting: A month before the wedding can start to get really busy, but if you would like to meet one last time to discuss anything, we can meet up at a restaurant for dinner in Gilbert, Arizona (some restaurants to meet at include Liberty Market, Joe’s Real BBQ, Romeo’s Euro Café and Mint Thai Café.) Any questions you have, any last minute ideas, anything at all can be discussed. And dinner is on me!

Multiple locations in the Phoenix area on the wedding day: Some weddings take place in 3 or 4 different locations (getting ready, the wedding ceremony, the reception, etc) and so we gladly travel to the different places.

Online gallery for you and friends and family to view all images and purchase professional prints: Your images will first be available for you to view on a Pictage gallery. Pictage is a company in California that is used by professional photographers all over the world. Pictage is a photo lab, album designer, educational resource for photographers and so much more.  They provide outstanding products for photographers and their clients. After we finish processing the images, we upload them to Pictage. Then we send you the link to see your images. You then can send the link to family and friends so that they can see your wedding images.

Album design: Even if you don’t order an album before the wedding, we can create a complimentary album design to show you what your images would look like in an album if you choose to get an album at a later time.

Post processing of images:  An 8 hour wedding requires approximately 30 to 45 hours of post-processing. Using Adobe Camera Raw, Adobe Photoshop and Totally Rad Actions as well as some of our own Photoshop Actions, Brenda Eden Photography post-process the images from your wedding to look gorgeous. To learn more about our post-processing style and philosophy, ask me to show you how I process images at our consultation.

CD or DVD with high resolution images and personal use release: When you are searching for a wedding photographer, think about whether or not it is important to you to own the high resolution images on CD. Some photographers include the CD, some do not, and other photographers sell the CD. Every photographer has good reasons for what they do. We have chosen to include the CD as part of the per hour price. We include a personal use copyright for you to take with you to photo labs.

♥♥♥ Frequently Asked Questions ♥♥♥

Photobooth2

Tell us about you! Brenda Eden Photography is a team of two sisters, Brenda Eden and Becky Eden and there's a pic of us we got at a photobooth. We both graduated with degrees in Bachelors of Fine Arts/Photography from Arizona State University. We absolutely love photography and weddings! We love meeting newly engaged couples and working with them to capture this amazing time in their lives.

What kind of photos do you take for weddings? I (Brenda) want to document the enchantment of your wedding.  I love to capture the details but I also really love to step back and capture the decisive moments that make up the big picture. I also just really love making photos of faces. I want to create the best head shots anyone has ever had. The kind of headshots that people can’t wait to put on their Facebook. The kind of headshots that you want to carry around in your wallet or put in a locket to have forever!

And I also really want to know what you want. So I ask you a bunch of questions and I also send you a questionnaire that you and your fiancé can fill out about what matters to you. For example, if you want a lot of photographs with just you and your new spouse, we talk about timing of the sunset and whether you would want to have photographs before the ceremony or after of just the two of you.

What kind of gear do you use for weddings and engagement sessions?

Canon 5D cameras and Canon L lenses. We love them.

Do you shoot any film for our wedding? We use digital cameras, but since our photography background is in film, we LOVE film and so yes, we might shoot a roll or 2 of some unusual kind of film like infrared film. You will receive the photos as scanned images on your DVD and you can see if you can tell the difference between the film and digital images.

We like black and white photos. Do you take black and white photos?

Yes, we love black and white photos. Using Photoshop, we can take the picture files and make them black and white. Also, any photo that you get through Pictage can be made black and white.

What is the process for hiring you to photograph our wedding?

A signed contract and payment for two hours ($500) is required to retain Brenda Eden Photography, LLC. When we receive both your signed contract and the retainer, we will save your wedding date to photograph. Payment plans can be created to space out payments. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the wedding date.

If you decide that you would like to commission Brenda Eden Photography to photograph your wedding, we will send you a contract and information for paying the retainer to reserve your wedding date.  You can pay either by check, money order or with a credit or debit card online.

Sometimes brides and grooms commission us to photograph their weddings by email or over the phone. Other brides and grooms want to meet in person.  We love meeting brides and grooms and can arrange a time to meet with you. We can get to know each other and you can see if we are a good fit for you. Just think about it and get back to us via phone or email!
